We are expanding our summer programs to offer players of all skill level the best options according to AGE, DEVELOPMENT and EXPERIENCE. We have a series of programs for players who wish to raise their game to the next level or to prepare for future Middle School or club tryouts.
The position training is a program with TWO DAY training in each specific Skill or Technique that each player needs to dominate to be a consistent on the court.
This will be run by our top HVVC coaches and guest coaches and will be organized to cover all that volleyball players need to master to play on strong teams.
This 2-Day/4-Hour high-level training is for high school players in grades 9-12 who are ready for more specialized skill development training, tactical strategy, and team dynamics discussions. 8th Grade players with National Club experience are taken by recommendation only.
Options:
OHT-) Outside Hitters Training
This training is for high school outside hitters who want to attend an intensive camp to develop arm-swing mechanics, hand positioning, approach, placement strategies, defense, and transition and to learn how to engage core muscles while hitting from the outside.
LDT-) Libero / Defensive Specialist Training
This special training is for liberos and defensive specialists who want to train at a high level in a serious atmosphere to develop their back court responsibilities in passing, defense, serving, communication, strategies for reading opposing hitters and body positioning.
* ST-) Setter Training (2 hours per day with combinations with Middle Hitters)
This training is for setters who want to train at a high level. As part of this serious training atmosphere, you will focus and develop all areas of your technique including footwork, hand placement, positioning on the court, game strategy and decision making, and reading the opponent's tactics.
* MBT-1) Middle Hitters/Blocking Training
This training is for high school middle hitters who want to attend an intensive camp to develop arm-swing mechanics, placement strategies, hand positioning, blocking footwork, transition and learn to engage core muscles while attacking from the middle. Players must be able to block with their wrists above the height of the net to enroll in this session.
This 2-Day/3-Hour training is for Middle School and High School Freshman players in grades 7-9 who are ready for more specialized skill development training, tactical strategy, and team dynamics discussions.

M-JST-) Server and Jump-Server Training
This training will focus on all the fundamental areas of serving as well as introducing new serving strategies. This is a great session for middle school or freshman players needing to work on their jump serves.
M-BT-) Ball Control and Games Training
This training will focus on all areas of serve receive, defense and ball control for all players with complementary competitive games.
M-ST-) Setter Training
This training is for future setters who want to work on all setting skills and strategies with a strong focus on improving techniques, including footwork, hand placement, court positioning, game strategy and decision-making, and reading the opponent's tactics.
M-HI-) All position Hitters Training
This training is for hitters who want to attend an intensive camp to develop arm-swing mechanics, hand positioning, approach, placement strategies, defense, blocking, transition, and engaging core muscles while hitting from the front zone.
